ZANETTI (Frank):
It was a privilege to work with Frank on some complicated investigations and anti-terrorist exercises over the years. His leadership, professionalism, tenacity, attention to detail, integrity and so many other positive attributes provided us younger officers with not only the skills but mind-sets that served us well throughout our careers.
In later years sharing the passion for WA Police history and social interaction within the Retired Police Officers’ Association expanded and reinforced the friendship built up during our respective careers.
Sincere condolences to Ruth, Karen, Joel, Paul and families and other friends.
We will remember.

ZANETTI (Frank):
I had the privilege of meeting Frank at a time when we were both studying at the Australian Police Staff College, Sydney, N.S.W. This was the beginning of a close and enduring friendship of over thirty years despite our respective homes being on opposite sides of the continent.
I will always remember Frank as a true gentleman, mate, highly respected and dedicated police officer; and one who was ever positive, helpful, and always exhibiting a great sense of humour. Rest in peace, old friend..

Respected friend and ad great companion pilot.
We shared many memorable trips to the outback and to all corners of the state.
The dust storms of Mount Isa brought a concerned look on your face.
The appreciation of you attending a sheep shearing record out of Northam when there were many better things to do, This will never be forgotten.
Your understanding and commitment of the benefits of a functional Air Wing will never be forgotten.

ZANETTI (Frank):
I had the great honour to work with Frank in the early training of the WA police assault group as it prepared itself to respond to a new level of threat in terrorism in the early 1980s.
Frank was first a thoroughly decent bloke and a professional of the highest order. He was a no nonsense leader universally respected and in his leadership roles with the assault group and clearly the Force more generally, did the State a great service. A highly respected colleague and friend.
Rest well mate,
Brigadier Jim Wallace AM (rtd)
Former Commanding Officer
Special Air Service Regiment
