  • WOODALL ROY Farewell to a great Australian geologist and explorationist. He ignited the nickel ‘boom', recognised the way forward with the vast bauxite resources of Western Australia, created and inspired the Exploration Division of WMC which discovered world class deposits of gold, copper, uranium, and commercial oil and gas fields. He nurtured many leaders of Australia's mining industry and his influence will continue to be felt for many years.

Sincere condolences to Barbara and the Woodall family.
