Obituary Guest Book 13 Messages

WILKINSON (PETER) OAM

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on 30 September aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Win for almost 62 years, cherished and much loved father of Michael, Terri and Jenny, devoted father-in-law of Pam, John and Wayne, adored grandfather and great- grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

WILKINSON (Peter):

My darling Husband, how blessed I have been to have had you in my life. You are my world and I am so proud of you.

Thank you for all of the unconditional loving care and guidance you have given to me and our beautiful family whom you cherished.

You have received many awards and accolades during your business life, together with the great respect of so many people Australia-wide, but the highest award is for being the most wonderful Husband, Dad, Father- in-law, Grandad and Great-Grandad.

Sleep peacefully now darling, I will love you forever.

Win (Freddie)

WILKINSON (Peter):

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a wonderful Father, Grandfather and Great- Grandfather.

Be at peace, God bless. Michael, Pam, Christopher, Renae and Ashlee.

WILKINSON (Peter):

Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Terri and John, treasured grandad of Ben and Mel, Luke and Kirsty, Katelyn and Scott.

Our beautiful dad and grandad, the most loving, generous and gentle man who was loved and respected by so many throughout his life. Finally at rest after a long and courageous battle. Always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.

WILKINSON (Peter):

You fought such an incredible fight Dad, right to the very end. We know you didn't want to leave us and we didn't want you to go but we draw comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain or suffering. You were always there for all of us throughout our lives and we know that you will forever be our guiding light. You were an amazing man who we were very blessed to have in our lives.

Rest peacefully now Dad. With love always Jenny, Wayne, Chloe (dec), Tegan, Sarah and Scott.

WILKINSON (Peter):

Grandad, we are so grateful that we got to know you, love you and see all the good you've done in the world.

Love always, Ben, Luke and Katelyn xx

With tears we saw you suffer

We watched you fade away

Our hearts were slowly breaking

As you fought so hard to stay

Goodbyes are not forever Goodbyes are not the end They simply mean I'll miss you Until we meet again

I am proud to say that he was a friend, and I count myself honoured to have met Peter that one last time.

Peter was always honest, wise and principled.

I will miss the good times that we shared.

My heart goes out to Win and family.

    God Bless

Many enduring friendships were forged from the early days at Peter Wilkinson & Co. Our lives were much enhanced by Peter and Win taking the risk of employing young apprentices.

As a just turned 14 year old Bob learned many life skills including "Treat people how you would like to be treated" as Peter would say, and the value of doing the job to your very best ability, for which we will be forever grateful.

Our love to Win and sincere condolences to Peter's families.

Dear Win, Michael, Terri, Jenny and all the Wilkinson family

My sincere condolences at the loss of your partner in crime for 62 years - what an incredible innings- and at the loss of your Father, Father-in-law, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

I’m sorry I can’t be there with you all to celebrate the life of such a kind and caring man.

I will always remember his kindness in including me (and Jenny) in your Christmas celebrations for the past 30 years. I will miss him not calling out the names!

Sending you all a wrap around hug and a few tears to go with it

    Lots of Love
