  • WIERINGA (Julie):

Julie and Heinz were married in Canberra for 10 years and lived in Canberra. We mostly had a very happy life we lived in a lovely large house in Manuka only 5 minutes walk from the Shops. Both children, Crystal and Luke, were born in Canberra 13 month apart. It was not an easy time for Julie to bring up two small children so close. But we always found young ladies to help, they came mostly after school.

I had and still run a small very busy business with two staff so it was very difficult to get away to help at home. So much so that Julie and the children left to go back to Perth because she had family there to help her.  Her mother Nancy came to Canberra several times and stayed for three month at a time that was a huge help, I'll be forever grateful for that.

After 10 years of life together, Julie moved back to Perth permanently.  She wanted me to relocate to Perth but I felt I was too old by then to start from new.

I will always be grateful to Julie for bringing two such fantastic children into this world.  Julie will always be in my mind, I will never forget her. She was not only a beautiful woman but very strong too. I watched the funeral on my iPad it was very moving. Our children will miss their mother for the rest of their life. I loved Julie a great deal when we were married and she will live on in my heart forever.

Dearest friend, the sadness I feel cannot be put into words but the joy of having known you helps. I could not have had a better friend. Paul.
