  • WARD (Constance):

Connie was such a dear friend. I feel so fortunate to have known her. I'll treasure the many hours we spent weaving various tapestries, exchanging news of our families and putting the world right. My sincere condolences to Ross and her family who she loved so well.

Dear Connie I appreciated your wisdom, your insights and calmness in the years we spent together at the Guild. You were a master craftwoman who shared your knowledge freely, diplomatically and fully. Farewell Connie you enriched my life.

The Handweavers, Spinners and Dyers Guild of Western Australia is deeply saddened at the passing of Connie Ward. Connie was a much loved member, friend, talented tapestry weaver, spinner and great contributor to the Guild over many years. Connie's passion for our craft was passed onto many of our members and she will always be remembered with great fondness. We extend our sincere sympathies to Ross and the Ward family.
