WAGER JOHN GILBERT Dearly loved brother of Margaret. John's motto in life was - difficult things take some time to accomplish - impossible things take a little longer. You achieved so much dear John. Dear brother-in-law to Allan, Uncle and Great Uncle to Nerida and David, Sam and Royce, Elsie and Beau, Elliot and Travis. Pamela and Nigel, Bronte and Xavier, Griffin and Elise. Trevor and Esther, Tia and Jun and Ellana.

WAGER JOHN John was to me a educator, mentor, friend and avid yachtie. Always cheerful and kindly. He will not be forgotten.

My deepest sympathy extends to Sue, Peter, Julie and their families and his friends.

WAGER JOHN The Commodore, Flag Officers, Members and Staff of Royal Perth Yacht Club extend their deepest sympathies to John's family for their sad loss. With over 50 years of membership, John's presence on the water was synonymous with excellence and camaraderie. Guiding his cherished yacht, Falcon, through countless regattas and races, he epitomised the spirit of the Thunderbird fleet with his skill, passion and sportsmanship. Beyond his prowess as a sailor, John was cherished for his warmth, kindness and unwavering support of his fellow members. John's contributions to the Thunderbird Fleet and RPYC will forever be remembered with admiration and gratitude. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

WAGER JOHN Farewell Captain John, special friend, mentor, sailor extraordinaire and "Great Wizard of the Thunderbird Fleet". You brought so much joy to our lives sailing with you on your beloved "Falcon" and educating us about the Sumerians. You will be forever in our hearts and memories. Deepest sympathy to Julie, Sue and Peter.
