TOWTON Keith

Obituary Guest Book 9 Messages

TOWTON (KEITH)

1931 - 2019 Loved Son of Amy and Fred Towton, Brother to Don and Amy, Brother-in-Law to Charles and Thelma.

Cherished Uncle of Karen, Marilyn and Vicki and valued friend of their Husbands and families. Keith was a master cabinetmaker who took great pride in his work, however sport was his first love. He played cricket, football and was a highly respected coach of both codes and also enjoyed horse racing and trotting. Keith was a Life Member and longest serving President of the Belmont Sports Club.

We remember him as a gentle and caring man who delighted in talking about and discussing all things sporting.

The final siren has sounded

  • TOWTON (Keith):

I joined Belmont juniors as a 12 year old in 1956. From that time until I moved to Sydney in 1967 Keith was part of my life. He coached me in U/19s and we shared an interest in racing and the "Red Hots". We had many enjoyable evenings at his house playing cards.

Keith was the backbone of Belmont Juniors and was a person respected and liked by all.

    A good bloke.
