Dearest Robert and Andrew,
Our deepest condolences on the very sad loss of your wonderful, special, multi talented mother.
We share your grief - and we will miss her greatly. Sadly, we heard the news too late to say goodbye to Jill - or attend her Funeral.
Our thoughts, prayers - and love - are with you both, and Suzanne, Emma, and her adored grandchildren, Billy, Grace and Kayla.
Sympathy, also, to all her family.
The world is a lesser place without dearest Jill - and dear Martyn.
Peter, Rosie and Nicholas,
Also Sarah, Anna and Jonathan, in the UK.
Christianity was a continuous thread in Jill’s life. A woman of many talents. I loved my sister dearly, and I’ve recently shed many tears, and the whole Farr family cannot imagine life without our loving Aunty Jill being close by.
THOMPSON (nee Farr)
22.11.1939 - 15.06.2021 Jill was a most loving sister to Peter and Joy (dec), sister-in-law and dear friend to Karen, much loved and respected aunty to Lisa and Rod, Susan, Matt and Rachel, and great aunty to the whole Farr and Sparrow clans, along with relatives in England, Ireland and Canada. Justifiably proud mother of Robert and Andrew and her 3 grandchildren. Jillian achieved gold medals in nursing and midwifery, led a wonderful, exemplary Christian life, was wise as well as loving, and she had many close friends. Adoring wife of Martyn for 50 years, Jill was brave till the end and she managed to tick everything on her bucket list. Jill went out in style with silver tea service and bone China cups! Jill will always be cherished. Peter, Karen and family.
