Obituary Guest Book 15 Messages

STEWART (DOUGLAS JOHN)

4.10.1950 - 8.2.2020

Devoted Husband of Helen. Amazing Dad to Simone and Mischa. Treasured Poppy to Nash and Summer.

Darling Dougie, the man who knows me like no other. My helper, my adviser, my strength, my hero, my world. Your courage and absolute unconditional love and caring for our little family is a true indication of the outstanding person you are. You were overwhelmed by everyone's caring visits and phone calls during your last months. That truly shows the imprint you have left on all that know you. Your brave face through the past 6.5 years can now relax and we will remember your beautiful face as you slipped away to a place of no pain.

Love from your Soumate Helen xxx

We did our apprenticeships together. I took you home on the back of my motorbike. You were terrified. No helmets, no protective clothing, hey it was the 60's. You were always a top bloke. Terry. Deepest sympathy to Helen and family. Doug was one of the good ones. See ya later mate. Terry and Lorna.

A true gentleman and friend, who enjoyed his golf and a laugh, we had many fun times. I will miss you.

Will always remember our chat the last time I saw Doug.

May he now rest in peace.
