To my beloved Grandfather,
The way you lived life taught me what it is to be a man. You lived with kindness, love, and grace for your fellow man and woman alike - no matter age, creed, or colour. You leave behind the legacy of a wise man, a teacher, and a leader in life. I have always seen you in myself, and myself in you. I am so proud to hold your memory in my heart and to go on in this world with the lessons you've taught us. There is so much to be said of you, but I know someday we will be face-to-face again and I can tell you then. Thank you for being the man that you were, for we are all so grateful.

STEPHENS NOEL This is the day.
The day to farewell an exceptional man. Loved and respected by many. A man who took on the world and won.
A courageous firefighter's firefighter, a leader who took dangerous personal risks so that those he lead didn't have to. Courage perhaps inspired by his deep faith in his saviour, Jesus Christ.
A renaissance man, a Perth Modern School alum, he knew Latin, loved Johnny Cash, Opera and Stravinski. He left part of his heart in the New Ireland of his youth.
Noela Boardman was the love of his life.
To me he was Dad, what a lucky boy and a fortunate man I was and am. My best mate, we had each others' back.
Thankyou, Dad, for your love, guidance, friendship, wisdom.
'till we meet again.
NOEL RAYMOND You taught us chess; let me strum that old guitar and borrow your violin. Explained everything from how to eat with chop sticks to the great questions of life. Blue eyes sparkling, you made us all laugh. How lucky were we.
God Bless you Uncle Noel, and keep you safe.
Chris, Heather, Evanna, Daniel, Kirsty and baby Aurora Brando.
To my patient uncle who tried unsuccessfully to teach me the mysteries of square roots and cubes.
I will miss your patience, understanding and humour
