  • SMITH (Fr Reg):

Deepest Sympathy to Fr Reg's Family.

Such a humble man, with a wonderful caring nature, to young and not so young equally.

Thank you for being there for us and all your parishioners at Toodyay.

May you go in peace to be with the Lord. Love from Ann and the Rowles Family.

  • SMITH (Fr Reginald):

Reg, your presence was truly felt by all, when you arrived at the Jennacubbine Church all those years ago.

Then later in the 90's at the East Fremantle Church, unless you arrived 15 minutes early, you missed out on a seat and parked well away.

Sadly missed but not forgotten by those that knew you.

  • SMITH (Fr Reginald):

Reg Smith, my dear friend who was humble in his acceptance of what is, understanding of the human condition, generous in giving his time and heart, infinitely wise in his guidance, at home with the mysteries, unfailingly loyal in his friendship, always present in his kindness, an inspiration in his simplicity, and patient in his listening. I am blessed to have known such a man. Now, he has slipped peacefully away, yet “there is nowhere I am that he is not.” Meath D Conlan

  • SMITH FR. REGINALD A quiet, unassuming man, he seemed to understand young people and all those years ago listened attentively to our teenage anxieties, hopes and dreams. He made a difference in our lives and made going to Church fun. I am glad to have known him and will remember him with great affection.

Vale Fr. Reg Smith. Michaela Powell
