Jerry was my form teacher and Social Studies teacher at Mirrabooka High School in 1967/68. He was a great teacher and a wonderful human being. I remember a particular moment when he offered wise counsel to me and I still remember his words 53 years later. That’s the kind of man he was. I met him again at Wanneroo Primary School in the mid 80’s when he was Director General of Education and he was exactly as I remembered him, big smiley face, warm and welcoming AND he remembered me too.
My sincere condolences to his family - he was a man to be proud of.
Our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Nina, Steve, Michael and Bec, Simon, Vic and Gloria on the sad death of Jerry, a very dear friend and best man at our wedding.
Esteemed by his family, local Macedonian community, his professional colleagues, the general community and the UWA Soccer Club teams in the 1960's.
