SKENDER May
SKENDER (MAY)
04.03.1939 - 01.10.2023 Dearly loved wife of Wally, adored mother of Debra, John and Linda. Mother- in-law to Ian. Grandmother to Astrid, Adam, Ben, Dan, Mitch and their partners.
Great grandmother to 10.
My darling, I can't believe the time has come for me to say goodbye. We were together every day for 67 years and I can't imagine life without you.
You didn't deserve the hand you were dealt but you had a strong determined mind and very rarely complained. Until we meet again, rest peacefully my darling, you deserve it after all you have been through. Your devoted husband Wally.
SKENDER (May):
Dear mum, it's hard to say goodbye and we wanted you to stay with us forever. We were so lucky to have had you as our mum. The love you gave us and the memories you have left us will live on forever. You put up a brave fight for so long, but it was just too much in the end and it was time for you to leave and to finally be pain-free and at rest.
We will always miss your determination, love and stories. Family was everything and is what kept you with us for so long, although you were in such pain. To the world you were but one, but to us you were the world.
Until we meet again,
rest peacefully Mum.
Your loving children
Deb, John and Linda.
