SHEDDEN PETER 06.01.1947 - 01.10.2020 Passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, surrounded by close family.
Much loved and cherished husband of Rosie; greatly admired by his sons David, Russell and Andy; adored by his daughters-in-law El, Alicia and Katelyn; friend and confidant to many.
Charismatic, practical, wise and welcoming, Pete brought people together. He was a generous, thoughtful friend and a dedicated father and husband.
Always keen for a good conversation and a glass of red, Pete valued life's simple pleasures. We will think of him whenever we go fishing, have a coffee on the verandah, do a crossword or see a Willie Wagtail.
Courageous, optimistic and pragmatic in the face of adversity, he worked tirelessly towards recovery throughout the final months, maintaining his sense of humour, sparkling eyes and warm smile to the end.
It was a life well-lived: full of happiness and adventures.
Rest in peace, Pete.
