Rest in peace Jean. You leave much loved family and friends but you are much loved too!
Remembering wonderful times at Dalkeith and Kelmscott. You will be so greatly missed!
Treasured and dearly loved first cousin of Jeanette, William, Doris and Lorelle. Jean had the courage to transcend boundaries implicit for country girls of her time. She pursued tertiary education with resourcefulness and determination; forged a successful professional career alongside nurturing her own family, relatives and friends, and remained forever faithful to them. Her capacity to entertain people from all walks of life was phenomenal. A woman of superior intelligence who it was a privilege to have known. She will be forever remembered for her contribution to the happiness in our lives.
A lovely lady and long time friend of Marjory Creyk (dec). Memories of times on Kelmscott Primary P and C and times at the tennis club.
Soulmate and loving wife of Cyril, caring stepmother to Tom and Ruth, Kim and Barbara, Jane, Paul (dec), Mark and all the grand- children plus great grand- children. Jean was always a gracious, caring lady who will be forever missed, particularly at our Christmas brandy sauce flambe and August girls party. We all loved Jean and now she joins Cyril who is waiting patiently.
RUSHTON JEAN Loved Mother to Matthew,
Mother-in-Law to Sandy and Grandmother to William and Louisa
Now it is over and you may find eternal rest. We love you and will mourn you forever. Matt, Sandy, William and Louisa
Dearly loved sister of Elsie and Bob, Mavis and Louie.
RUSHTON JEAN Farewell Jean
Your thoughtfulness and generosity knew no bounds. You will be sorely missed. All our love,
Lou and family
(nee Evans, Buttsworth):
Daughter of Linda and Lou Evans (both dec). Sister of Elsie (dec), Bob, Mavis and Louie. Esteemed relative of both Evans and Smith families. You paid for your Melbourne University degree from our Bridgetown Nairnup farm by trapping rabbits and selling their skins - a family first and an inspiration to us all, especially me. 10 years my senior, you have been there for me all our long wonderful lives. Thank you.
