Passed away peacefully at Hollywood Hospital on Friday 08.01.2021, aged 58. Much loved Daughter of Tom (dec) and Betty, treasured Sister of Steven, Gary and Robyn (dec). Loved Aunty of Grace and Riley. A wonderful, adventurous life cut short, Denise has left us with so many memories to hold in our hearts. No flowers please, donations to Cancer Council.

RILEY (Denise):
I knew Denise since about 1982. I didn’t see her so often in recent years but she was one of those special friends where that made no difference. It just seemed like we had always known each other and had a shared history. And, whenever I saw her, it was just like old times.
She was a one off! A feisty but lovely down to earth character. Full of life and verve and humour and mischief. She was beautiful!
It is hard to believe that her big personality has left us.
I’d like to mention a certain group of Denise’s closest female friends. They are the epitome of courage and friendship. You know who you are and I think that you did a magnificent job of caring for Denise since her diagnosis. Bravo!
My condolences to Gary, her family and all of those who loved her.
