Loved and missed, the world feels more empty and stagnant without your warm and cheerful smile and comforting embrace.

You may not have realised, the astounding impact you’ve had on my life and my family. Helping me grow from the insecure 12yr old I was, to the individual I have become. Will deeply miss you, these months have been tough. When the person you talk to the most, is no longer there.

Will always be loved, and thought of as a mum.

Sally, words are hard to come by when I think of your loss but one conversation we shared just keeps coming back to me.

After a recent operation your were experiencing particularly bad aches and pains and you said 'they are so bad that I need to have a shower in the morning as well at the moment, how silly is that?' I gave you a weird look and said yeah I have a shower in the morning everyday? We then continued to debate the benefits of a morning shower and how it's a normal thing for other people. It's a conversation that I brought up to you in jest and would often greet you in the morning with a 'Good Morning Sally, how was your shower this morning?' which always resulted in a smile, a laugh and quirky comment in response.

I will miss you Sal but I will always remember our random conversations.

I will miss you Sal my dear boarding school buddy. We shared a room in 1976 and I became a proxy Sherbert fan and maintained a lot of Sherbert trivia in my head for a long time because of you. I will miss seeing you in Perth whenever I visit and so glad we caught up on the phone recently. My heart is broken. Rest peacefully my friend. My deepest condolences to Paul and all of Sally's family and friends. Much love Kerry Reid xxx

    Dear Paul and Sally's Family,

I had the great pleasure of working with Sally for the past four years. Sally was a wonderfully individual and authentic person. There was only one Sally!

Sally never failed to surprise me with her knowledge of most things but especially the work place. Her smile was contagious but what I will miss the most is her kindness.

She is missed and our hearts are broken.

Sally was the first person (after the interview panel) that I met at SAT. She set the tone for what was to follow: friendliness, collegiality, laughter and kindness.

She is, and will be, missed. Sincere condolences to all who love her.

Dear family of Sally, it is with great sorrow that I heard of Sally's passing. I have worked with Sally for more than 10 years. She was always a 'go-to-person'. Whatever had to be done, Sally would help. Whenever help was required, Sally would put up her hand. In some days prior to her passing I went to her cap in hand, asking for help. I pray that you find peace in her memories; that you get the strength to smile when you think of her; to laugh when you recall her life. May the God of all peace, give you peace in this time.
