My darling Dad, Poppy, thank you for the fun adventures we had as kids, the road trips and beach days and later our day trips with coffee and cake. I will miss your nightly phone calls and Yes, Archie is on duty! Enjoy your beer with Ron. Miss you forever. Nic, Ron (dec), Clint and Elise, Mitch and Jess, Kahlia and Ben, Paige and Sarah.

    Dear Pat and Family,

Just heard of Uncle John's passing, it is a shame we have not seen you for such a long time, that is pretty much how the Bond Family is.

Please accept our deepest condolences on your loss.

Passed away peacefully on 17.09.21. A very much loved Husband of Pat and amazing Father of Steve, Debbie, Nicole, Lisa, Johnny, Jason, Brett and Nigel. Adored Poppy of 21 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. A man big in stature, personality and hugs. Although he enjoyed the comforts of home, it was his childhood memories of the bush and camping under the stars that he cherished. Oh yes, he was the best billy tea maker in the Goldfields and wherever he drove, Slim Dusty was always playing over and over again! So John, we'll try looking forward but for now, looking back has already begun! Somewhere when we meet again, we'll finish our story. Your loving Wife, Pat xxx

Hey Poppy (Dad) love you to Jeedamya and back! Our road trips will never be the same. I'm so glad Joshy and Dan got to share your love and a little of the Goldfields with you and Mum. Enjoy your iced coffees with Slim and John Wayne! Your ashes will continue to travel the Goldfields and beyond to the places you once called home. Forever Poppy, big hugs and kisses, La DB and boys.

My beloved Dad, my Poppy! I am devastated you have gone! At least I have a lifetime of memories to get me through! You loved so unconditionally. I loved how you and Mum moved to Adelaide when I started my own family - you are such an adored Grandad of Maddison, Ellie and Taylor who now have their own fun memories with you on the chicken farm, emu farm, caravan park, Port Elliot and our holidays to QLD with you and Mum. So thank you my dear Poppy for being my Dad! Without you, there is no us! Our love forever.
