Our dear Sister Maureen O'Connor passed away peacefully at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch on Saturday 3 July 2021. Maureen, you always came to our gatherings so smartly dressed, ready for fun, and a crisp participation in our discussions. We remember your enjoyment of teaching and Parish Ministries and your love of music. We thank you and now that your presence and journey with us has entered a new phase we know that you will dance joyfully into Heaven. Go in Peace, dear Maureen. Your loving Sisters of St Joseph of The Sacred Heart.

The Requiem Mass for Sister Maureen O'Connor of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated in St Joseph's Convent Chapel, 16 York Street, South Perth commencing at 1:45pm on THURSDAY (15.07.2021). The Cortege will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of Mass and arrive at the main entrance of KARRAKATTA Cemetery, Railway Road, Karrakatta at 3:30pm for a Burial Service.

  • O'CONNOR MAUREEN Sr. Maureen O'Connor died on 3.7.21, aged 81 years. It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of dear Maureen. Loving sister of Dermot, sister-in-law of Bernice, aunt of Louise, Jane-Frances and Benjamin (dec), great aunt of Lily and Charlotte. A life well lived in total service to others.     In gratitude for the life, dedication and pastoral zeal of Sr Maureen O'Connor RSJ. Her contribution to the Diocese of Bunbury has spanned over many years, firstly as a teacher and Principal and more recently as Administrator of the Pinjarra Parish for eighteen years.     Much loved and greatly missed Sr. Maureen O'Connor. Died on Saturday 3rd July. She administered Pinjarra Catholic Parish for 18 years from 1996 - 2014. Maureen will be remembered at Mass at St. Augustine's Church, Pinjarra, 10.00am Sunday 11th November.
