Myself and my husband David met Bill on our visit to Perth from the UK many years ago through my Dad Eric. We all loved catching up with Bill at the Saturday Nic club, he was such a happy man who we will remember with love and huge fondness, his jokes were nearly as good as his infectious laugh was. Such a lovely man who we will miss and keep in our memories xx We send our condolences to the family xx

Our most sincere condolences to Carmel and family on their very sad loss of Bill. He was a memorable character. One always knew when he was in the room. What a wonderful sense of humour. His infectious laughter would have us in fits before he'd even finished the story.

But Bill was also a very competent and skilled manager. As CEO of Engineered Roof Trusses his innovative development and promotion of timber products and events was legendary.

Bill was a valued veteran of many of our Manitoba fishing voyages to Ningaloo and Dirk Hartog Island. His ancient Penn 4-0 reel was deadly and he earnt many accolades as ships master chef.

He was a very fine man and great company and will be greatly missed by us all.

Fine husband, father, salesman, fisherman, story teller. A good man, generous to a fault.

We had lots of good times together.
