Brian, you were a work mate, and a friend I will never forget, I'm so glad that we were able to chat now and then at The Shops in Ellenbrook, it's going to be hard not to look around for you. Rest easy my friend, Daphne.

MONAGHAN (Brian ): My dearest Brian, I don't know how I can live with out you. We have had 62 years of a wonderful loving marriage. Your love and devotion has meant the world to me as you are my world. I love you Brian and miss you so much and not sure how to go on with out you. Please Rest in Peace my little man. MONAGHAN (Brian ): My beautiful Dad, we had so much planned for the next couple of weeks but you needed to close your eyes, I begged you to stay but it was your time. I already miss you so much our 8 phone calls a day especially the last one to say goodnight have a nice sleep. Every time my phone rings I pray it is your voice and I am in a bad dream and you are still with us. The past year we have seen each other nearly every day and now I am lost and just wish and pray I had one more day with you. You have suffered for 3 years and you never complained you just got on with life and still smiled and had your strange sense of humour that we loved. I am so proud to be your daughter you always made out you were superman made of steel and a hard man however over the past 3 years I have realised you were just a softy. I admire you so very much as sick as you were your priority was Mum and your devotion to her was amazing even the way you loved and protected her, she was your number 1. I made a promise to you I would look after Mum and care for her and she would not be forgotten in the nursing home and that I will do. The last few months have been tough watching you struggle but you fought to the end with dignity as you said no one will shower or dress you and you lived by your rule. I find it so hard that 2 weeks ago you were still riding your motor bike and now you have left me. Dad I am so glad I was able to achieve your wish for you to leave us from my house holding my hand and we did it, I will cherish that for ever. I love you so much and you will always be in my broken heart as I don't think it will ever heal, I just want you to walk through my front door and give me that hug. I love you so very much and thank you for being my Dad. May you rest in Peace, your loving daughter Dianne xx

MONAGHAN (Brian):
My little mate Brian, not only were you my father-in-law but my friend. Over time our bond has strengthened, you were always there for me either with advice or just your presence. You made me promise that I would always look out for your daughter Di and you knew I would. I have watched you suffer over the past few years with pain and sickness, I suffered with you. I will miss our phone calls and the pop in's for a beer or 2 and a chat. I will never forget the words you said to me on your last night before you closed your eyes, "We have each other". Well little mate as your request I will look out for Shirley so you can rest in peace. I know the pain and suffering has ended. Rest in Peace, love Jim xx
