You were my mate first then became my uncle and godfather to my little man. We had awesome times, we talked, you listened, I was always there to help you with your technology for online banking, iPad issues, banking online, account setups anything you needed me to do. I done you baby sat the kid's when I was in hospital or had to be put back in hospital because of infection in my wounds. You always would drop everything no matter what you were doing or who you were with if I called you to help our Jamie or the kids. Never saying no only to those you were with, no I got to go help my nephew and his family all you will have to wait for me to get back or figure out something yourselves your favourite thing to say to me was Scottie I need some pork belly for a roast. Many night into the early mornings we spent fixing your online accounts for email banking or Centrelink because you forgot the password or you entered the wrong password and the account was locked so you couldn't access it even though all passwords were easy to remember to login into the accounts. You mean everything to me and my family, I will forever be grateful I met you and you got to become part of our family LOVE YOU ALWAYS UNCLE MISS FOREVER.

    May Peace Be Your Journey

    Tony Merenda RIP

You were my friend for many many years. I remember the days in a townhouse when you were married to Carmen, remembered Rosalie being there, you're a good friend Tony.

You helped me in so many ways that people will never understand but you wouldn't listen. I had to stop our friendship because you wanted more and I didn't, I know you're gone but you're forever in my heart as one of my closest and dearest friends who I still can't believe you're gone.

You were the one that came to the trial to help me get my son back from DCP, listed in front of Jason so he wouldn't hit me one day when we were getting on a bus as you defended me in my home when it came to buckle.

Many long nights and many long walks when we couldn't sleep, the silly things we would get up to. I miss hearing your scooter come down the footpath, I miss hearing your griffy giggle would laugh, I miss you Tony.

I'm so lost but you're forever in my heart, I'm sorry.
