  • MEADOWCROFT DAVID Much loved brother, so blessed to have had such a caring big brother and to have shared many happy memories of life on the farm, travels round Aus and life in general. Never one to seek recognition yet so many achievements. From early days at the ABC, farming, WA tourism, Marine engineering and practical preservation of Australian history - so many quiet contributions to your beloved Australia. Always my rock in the face of adversity. I shall miss you forever. Helen

My uncle led a long, full and interesting life. His humour, knowledge and generosity brought much to many, his friendship valued by all. I miss him already. I miss him always just being there. I miss his stories. I miss his collections of, er, historically valuable artefacts, and of course his "jokes". So long and safe travels Uncle D, say hi to everyone up there. David Cooney.

    MEADOWCROFT (David):

Rest in Peace Uncle David, a humble man with a heart of gold. Our family historian, restoration expert and master of all things mechanical, Footrot Flats philosopher, a hard working man of duty, great patience, resilience and generosity. You were always there for us all. Thank you for your lifelong support, fun times and often irreverent humour. Say hi to Karen, Nanna and Dad. You will be remembered.

    Love Beth and Robinson.
