Loving husband to Pam. Much loved father to Robert, Mark, Michael and Fred. Loving grandfather and great grandfather to all his Grandies. Passed peacefully at home after a hard battle with his illness. Will be sadly missed by us all. Sleep in peace Fred, Dad and Grandpa.

Condolences to Pam and all the McKrill family in this sad time. I only new Fred from my roof tiling days some 50 years ago. I was one of the gang that was fortunate enough to be part of Fred’s team. A hard but fair boss he gave anyone a go who was willing to work..... Who would employ a one legged ex jockey for roof tiling? ... Fred did. (I still have great memories of him race calling the “monier cup” as we bumped tiles across the roof, spurred on by his hilarious calls) Fred certainly had my respect and all who worked for him. I had some of the best times of my life working for Fred and will never forget. R.I.P Fred. Keith Pascoe
