  • McKERROW (Charlie):

Charlie and I started farming together in 1975 in Beaumont , Esperance. We didn't have any experience at farming but we grew the most fantastic crop of wheat which set us up financially for the years ahead. We went our own ways farming and Charles developed two other farms in the district.

He loved to encourage and nurture other aspiring young farmers to get a start in farming like he had done.

Charles left Esperance after his farming life for a life in Perth.

    RIP Charlie McKerrow

Sincere condolences to Jo and families. It's been a pleasure to have you as a great mate for 45+ years, and always giving correct advice when I needed it. Thanks for the good times on the Quovartius and the American Cup days, prospecting days at Big L, Shark Bay fishing trips with Burkey and Troy and the around-the-world trip I did with you 25 years ago. A lot of great memories. RIP Macka. Peter Pacey

Charlie- Our HERO, our CHAMPION. You have created so much happiness for so many. A father figure and mentor to whomever needed a hand or a leg up. You lived your life based on trust and handshakes. You went out exactly as you said you would. Peacefully and calmy when your jobs were done and everyone was looked after. Even at the last minute you were still making lasting impressions.

We will always love you mate and never ever forget you.

    Your Forever family!!!!
