Very sad on the passing of Campbell. The first mate I had when I moved to Porongurup in the 1990's. He introduced me to the Mt Barker Rotary Club and we enjoyed driving in there at night, sharing stories. His founding of the Porongurup Promotions Association and his involvement with wine production and tourism were first class. Having grown up in Porongurup he was telling me about snow falling in the hills when he was very young and making snowmen. His stories were entertaining.
See you up there one day mate, as you were surely sent up by your devout Christian wife - dear Annette, to whom I have expressed my sincere regrets. Sorry to your lovely daughters and families.
Peter Thorn.
