Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Much loved Wife of Don, Mum to Darleen, Paul, Craig, Bruce (dec), beautiful Gran to eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. You are now at peace and reunited with Bruce. You will be forever in our hearts.

A Private Funeral Service will be held for Mrs Janet McCartney of Inglewood. Due to the Government imposed restrictions of the Corona Virus this will be by invitation only. The family would like to thank family and friends of Janet for their sympathy and understanding at this difficult time.

    Loving sister of Betty (dec), sister in law to Harry and Shorty (both dec), Aunty of Stephen, Phillip, Murray, Susan and Louise.

    Aunty Janet played a special part in all our lives and had a very special and loving relationship with our mother, Betty.

    We will all miss catching up, as she always showed and genuine interest in what we were doing and this interested extended to our children and grandchildren.

    Deepest sympathy to Don, Darleen, Paul, Craig and all of their (and Bruce's) respective families.

    Reunited with her loved ones.

  • MCCARTNEY JANET Life member of Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club, Janet succumbed to her illness after a mighty battle. Janet was a champion bowler, full of spirit and passion for the game. Her tireless work around the club will be hard to replicate. Condolences to her family from President, committee and members of Inglewood Bowling and Sports Club.
