MARTIN SUSAN PAMELA

(NEE NAYLER)

My beautiful wife Susan passed away peacefully late Thursday after 4½ years with breast cancer. Susan was an exceptional wife, mother and friend. She inspired so many people with her fine sense of humour, generosity and consideration for others. She also had many personal achievements in athletics and academia. Sue was a wonderful partner to have in my life for 40 years and was the driver for many family holidays and gatherings. Her whole life was committed to her family, Pia-Louise, Christopher and was so excited to be able to spend time with her delightful three grandchildren James, Harrison and Matilda. Her memories will be cherished. Your loving husband, Rob.

MARTIN (Susan):

An amazing Mum who became my best friend. No words will express how much I'll miss you. I'm so lucky to have had years of memories and adventures with you. You made me laugh, no matter how tough things were and I was always left lighter after being together. I'm lucky to have so much of your personality in James and Harry. Your daughter forever, Pia.

MARTIN (Susan):

To my dear Mum, you were a wonderful mother. So caring, loved by everyone. I'll deeply miss you. You are so special Mum. Thinking of you every day. I love you, Chris.

MARTIN (Susan):

Dear Sue, I will dearly miss you. You were a second Mum to me who was such a large and important part of my life. You raised an amazing daughter in Pia who is just as caring and loving as you. I'm so glad you got to meet all of our children who will all miss you incredibly. When I look into James and Harry's eyes it will remind me of you and your name will be remembered in little Matilda Susan who was by your side. Your son-in-law, Daniel Prior.

MARTIN (Susan):

Granny Sue - for making our 4½ years together so special. You gave us all our love of books and the library. For telling long and rambling stories and James' love for flowers like his Granny Sue. We will always remember you every time we see a "zippy car". See ya later alligator, in a while crocodile.
