To Auntie Irene - With happy memories of a truly wonderful and remarkable women.
Happy in the knowledge that you are at home with the Lord.
You will be greatly missed by all who knew you.
With much love to all the family at this sad time, from Auntie Sheila, Kevin, Catherine, Alan, Fran and the family in the UK.
Mum you are the best mum a daughter could ever ask for. I wish I could have one more cuddle, one more kiss, one more time to tell you I love you, one more time to send you a hand heart. We were so fortunate to have you for so long but it never seemed long enough. Since you have gone I wake up every day and say good morning mum and dad. It gives me great comfort knowing that you are together again, although I am missing you both so much. Continue to keep watch over us all. We love you with all our hearts. Brett, Morzy and Luke xxx
Nan you taught me how to be an outstanding woman.
It feels like it was just yesterday I was doing your makeup and talking about what adventures we might get up to.
I will miss watching the bold and the beautiful with you.
Though you are gone for now. I will always treasure the memories I have shared with you. I take solace in seeing you agian in heaven.
“Here the whole world (stars, water, air,
And field, and forest, as they were
Reflected in a single mind)
Like cast off clothes was left behind
In ashes, yet with hopes that she,
Re-born from holy poverty,
In lenten lands, hereafter may
Resume them on her Easter Day.“
It’s not goodbye.
We will see you soon.
Love, Ash and Tash (Dines family)
Mum, I told you every time we spoke, "I Love You". "Thanks for everything" was always said. We left nothing unsaid. Time, nor distance, border closures, sickness, now death. Nothing has changed your legacy Mum. The strength of your character, the depth of your love, your compassion, the never ending sacrifices you made willingly. The laughter, the joy, the tears, the pain, all were the substance of you. Now you have left a memorial Mum, a wealth of memories entrusted to us all. Daphne the daughter you brought to Dad. Never a step child. Treasured by him as the first born daughter. The artist, the craftswoman. Denise the quiet one, brought Jesus into our home. Pam the industrialist, the builder. Caz the peacemaker, the smiler. Morz the thinker, the tenacious one. All of these traits came to us through you and Dad. Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. You built a family Mum.
Safe in the loving arms of Jesus. Together with Dad.
I love you Mum, "Thanks for everything ".
Lin, Howard, Paul and Mad.
Our beloved Nan,
You were the Nan every child dreamed of having. Ascot water playground, trips on the Red Rattlers, Christmases, birthdays and frequent walks to the Park. The memories you gave us will be cherished for a lifetime. I will miss your cheeky sense of humour and seeing you smile, but it will only be for a season. Rest easy with The Lord, and don't give Pop too hard a time. We shall see you soon.
Dave and Rach

LOVE YOU MUM
Born 28.03.1926 - 21.10.2021. In between those dates is a tiny dash. But Irene's life was so much more than that tiny dash. I met Irene in 1981 and knew her for 40 years. The woman I knew was someone given wholly to service and family. She was ceaseless in her love of us all. I will miss her until we are once again joined in our common love of our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. I was one of those whose life was blessed by Irene and her legacy, her most beautiful daughters and blessed doubly to have married the most beautiful of them all in Linda Kaye. Irene you were so much more than the tiny dash, and those who knew you will attest of it to the last.

FROM ME TO YOU
A long time ago you gave me a precious gift: the gift of life when I nearly died but I survived. Growing up to be strong, standing on my own two feet. Thank you.
You both had me baptised (St Paul's, Blackheath 3 February 1952): Again, thank you.
Your only child from 1st marriage: (20 March 1948, Parish Church Halesowen) and you requested "the church bells to ring".
What a beautiful, joyous and cherished momentous day that must have been.
Forevermore, "the church bells will ring" for you as they did many many years ago.
Daphne Christine Stokes (born: UK 14 Dec 1951): (father dec: July/Aug 1952)
Rest in Peace
