  • MARSH (Loisette):

I have very happy memories of Loisette. Firstly in Fiji just 3 weeks after arrival (1966) as a very 'green' VSO. I was invited to a 'Fiji Rucksack Club' w/end away run by Loisette and her husband, and made to feel very welcome. I remember Peter and Jenni very well as teenagers! Loisette also had a close link with the Fiji Museum (where I was the School's Education Officer).

Later it was lovely to renew friendship with her when my late husband and I went to live in Perth for a short time in 1977. Loisette was a frequent visitor and so lovely with our 2 daughters who loved sitting on her knee. Loisette also visited me in the UK at the time of Peter's wedding.

I've loved receiving her Christmas cards each year, with amazing news of her diving exploits, and so delighted to hear that THE BOOK eventually was published - what a proud moment for all the family!

    What a special lady.
