In loving memory of Joan Armstrong Macneall. A strong, caring, adventurous woman. Joan you lived life and are remembered for strength of character and love for her children whom she said were Her life's purpose. Your door was always open, kettle on. Serious conversations, interspersed with poems, jokes, laughter and blather. So proud to have been part of your life - thank you. Joan (aka Jakki) in your 60's setting off travelling Australia's roads and highways with your dogs Molly and Tom. I loved listening as you shared the stories and your vivid descriptions of your many stops along the way. I never left you wondering, as you always spoke your truth. Blessed to have shared some of life's journey with you. Thank you. Love You Always Denese xxxx

Passed away peacefully on 21.4.2019 aged 79.
Goodbye my sister. You have left us with so many memories. You were so talented in everything you put your hand to.
You wrote beautiful poetry.
I will never forget how we cried to each other over the phone when you tried to recite the first poem that you wrote for your four children Edward, Catherine, Margaret and John called "The Chosen One" and I was trying to write it down with tears in my eyes. It was so beautiful I took it to the printers and had it printed for you and I remember how thrilled you were to see it in print. You are much loved sister, sister- in-law to Geoff, aunty to Clinton, Glen and Nicole.
I loved you so much Joan. Love from Fay
MACNEALL JOAN Dear Joan. So many memories since meeting you in 1977. Your generosity, creativity, the parties and Boxing Day get togethers are legendary. A mighty woman in a small package. You made it all happen. Love to Ed, Cathy, Margaret, John and your families. Toni Csermelyi.
