  • LUSH (Alan):

My deepest sympathy to Bernadette and family on the loss of Alan.

I have many fond memories of my time in the 1960’s as a Sea Ranger with SRS Warramunga, the Rovers and Alan. Alan was such a gorgeous man and I think many a Sea Ranger would have sailed away with him but his heart belonged to Bernadette and hers with his. I have always thought of them both, on trips down south knowing some of our land and forest was in good hands.

The time has come, the time for you to say ciao for now.

Although I have not spoken to you since Uncle Bill's Funeral in 1988 I have thought of you and Bernadette, and your sister and brother Vicky and Keith.

You will be missed by all who know and love you.

“All life is transitory. A dream.

We all come together in the same place at the end of time.

If we don't see you again here, we will see you in a little while, in the place where no tears fall.”

Rest peacefully - your cousin Kerry Beard - now Kaye Phillips

    I'm saddened to hear this.

I've never forgotten the kindness Alan extended to me on the death of my own father thirty years ago. His gentle words were greatly appreciated - the hallmark of a truly compassionate man.

    RIP Alan.

Alan - my beautiful brother. A very loving, sharing and exceptional man who put family above all else. Our love and thoughts go to the loves of his life - wife Bernadette, Children and Grandchildren, and to the many people whose lives he touched over so many years. Deeply missed but always in our hearts. Vicki and family.

    LUSH (Alan):

We'd like to be with you today

    If only for a while

We'd like to share your company

And like to see you smile

    But since that seems impossible

We'd do the next best thing

And visit you in our hearts and thoughts

    By just remembering

Love you Alan Keith and Pam
