Dearly beloved wife of David. Loving mother of Matthew and Andrew. Adored sister of Anthony and Richard. Passed away peacefully after an illness with family at her side. A loving and caring person who was respected by all. Truly a beautiful lady in so many ways.

My condolences and sympathy to the Lesslie family.

Kate will be sadly missed by exploration industry where she was well respected by her peers and us in the drilling industry. Kate's professionalism and most importantly her great sense of humour. Kate was truly a diamond amongst all us rocks and will never be forgotten. R.I.P Kate

Kate was the best boss I ever had, and I will always be grateful for the guidance, good sense and generosity with which she approached her job. I was a better boss myself for her influence. Being on Kate's team meant that you where part of a strong team that was supported by their leader and by each other, and were given opportunities to develop both personally and in a career.

When the day's safety message was about taking safety home, I always think of Kate sharing the fact that her teenagers had taken the message about having and practicing an evacuation plan seriously, and had cut the flyscreen so that they could slide down the roof from the first floor to safety. Her comment - "what could I say?"

I can only imagine how much all "her boys" are going to miss her. I hope that knowing that others share your loss will help you to cope with it.
