LENEGAN (Peter Lister):
14.10.1923 - 20.7.2012
Peacefully "Promoted to Glory" on Friday 20th July at home surrounded by his adoring family, in his 89th year.
Caring and loving husband of Rona for 63 years; devoted father of Karen, Debra, Dalene and Kylie; father-in-law of Russ, Glen, Nick and Mark; Pa of Rebekah, Joel, Jeremy, Joseph, Nathaniel, Hope, Taree, Zachary, Jessamy and Cassidy, and spouses; Great-Grand Pa of Ezra, Zeke, Chad, Jack, Bodie, Luke and Nate.
Thank you to Pa's care givers including Dr Chips Thelander and staff; Charlie Gairdner ED & G54; Palliative Care Team; Silver Chain Hospice and Veteran Affairs.
My Darling,
"Only a prayer away". So many beautiful walks together. Now you take my love and leave me yours. You are in my heart forever. Until we meet again. "Just a closer walk with Thee." Your ever loving wife "Mum".
"One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

Thank you, our precious Dad, you gave to us so much by your quiet, gentle, steadfast example. You leave us a wonderful godly heritage.

You made it, Dad, and all the way leading us by your example. Thank you for imparting to us your faith in God's promises; your love of family and people, of plants and animals, poetry, books and music; your interest in the weather and politics; your desire for justice and your service to God and country. Death is less fearful because we know now that what you have always taught is true. Our love and adoration for you will only continue to grow.
