  • LEEDER (Murray):

    Murray Leeder.

The storyteller of days gone by in the NT, when Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs were genuine outback towns.

Loved working with you Murray and recalling the good old days, particularly your description of the Timber Creek race meeting where everything was controlled by one man.

The years with you at the NT News in the early noughties were fun and a time to learn.

    Sympathies to the Leeder family.

Grey Morris, former sports editor and journalist at the NT News

  • LEEDER MURRAY We go back a long way (1962/3) and connected several times over the years. We didn't always get it right but the love was always there. I'm so grateful for the time I had with you towards the end. Thank you for that.

Farewell Murray - I'll see you in my dreams.

Love and sympathy to you Jus, Mel and Jay.
