LECKIE (Laurie) OAM:

My dearest Laurie. We had 64 lovely years together. You helped me to become a good Australian and I instilled in you how to enjoy being part Estonian. I'll miss you, Evi.

  • LECKIE LAURIE Evi, Rob, Karen and Alan. Thankyou for lending us your husband and father so our family, which was so interlinked with yours could benefit from his wisdom, patience and most of all enthusiasm. His gentle style of leadership helped create the next generation of leaders both within your home and at Dover crescent. So collectively we clench our fist and lean forward shouting a final.

    "B R A V O O O." Forever missed - The Bartons.

He formed part of the Scout Group that took on the running of the Wembley Downs District Community Fair in 1973 which he continued until 2007.

The passing of Laurie is a great loss for the local community and he will be greatly missed.
