You will be missed by all and are now with old mates Trevor Riley and Peter Edwards.

  • LAWRENCE (RAY)

Fondly known as Goldie, Ray Lawrence was a pivotal member of the Perth Football Club's illustrious 1960's sides, playing a total of 114 matches. He was one of the first picked during the premiership three-peat of 1966 to 1968, being an extremely reliable member of the Club's extraordinary half-back line. Following his playing days Goldie never lost interest in the Club, being closely involved and a regular attendee at matches and functions up until recent times. He was awarded Life Membership in 2011. Ray was an extremely likeable person who was highly respected both within the Club and throughout the general football public. He will be greatly missed. Sincere condolences are extended to the Lawrence family and his many close friends.
