KALNINS Brendan

Obituary Guest Book 23 Messages

KALNINS

BRENDAN CHARLES 21.12.1986 - 17.1.2022 Loving son of Jo and Andy.

Loved brother of Karina. You were an amazingly strong and independent man. A special person who achieved so much and had so much more to look forward to.

Our hearts are broken. We cannot understand why you had to leave us. You were so happy when we last saw you. How can illness strike so suddenly, without any warning and such a terrible outcome?

You were our pride and joy.

You were a very special boy who grew into a lovely man.

You will be so missed by us and never forgotten.

You only had to know Brendan for a short amount of time to know he was a really good person. He exuded goodness and you could sense that emanating from him. He was the real deal. And his laugh. Loved that laugh. The look on his face and the twinkle in his eye when Brendan laughed was brilliant. I loved the Brendan who would get excited when his humour was tickled. Really miss you Brendan. I feel privileged to have known you.

To Brendan's family. My deepest condolences. Brendan was truly a special person.

Brendan brought a constant kindness and warmth as a teacher and a role model to both our boys Jake and Flynn. He will be sorely missed, making an impact and being a constant example of noble character and service to both of them.

We wish you comfort during this time.

On behalf of the members of Jishukan Ryu Australia and the Jishukan Honbu,

We cannot begin to express the deep sadness that comes with the untimely passing of Brendan. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family, his friends, his long time instructor and mentor Vic and all his students at the Tuart Hill dojo. Brendan was a fine young man, well liked and highly regarded amongst the Jishukan Ryu community, both here and around Australia. We will miss him greatly and remember him fondly.

    Our deepest condolences.

Our sincere condolences to Brendan's family and friends. Brendan was a great mentor for both Daniel and Nicholas during their many years at PMMA. A true role model (awesome was a word used very often when describing Brendan after training) who genuinely cared about his students. I am forever grateful for him taking the time to encourage and support the boys (on and off the mat) especially when the teenage years were tough. His presence in our lives will never be forgotten. May his family take comfort in knowing that every life he touched was left so much better and may God give you the strength you need. Much love, Tanya Pereira

Brendan was always one to put others first and himself last, this was his greatest quality.

His example set the standard on how people should act towards each other.

We need to make sure this legacy continues not just for our sake, but for the sake of Brendan's memory.

My sincere condolences to the Kalnins family.

Brendan always had such a warm presence, there with a big smile ready to make sure the cast are ready to train and come up with the best fight choreography for our short film. He was always eager to help and went above and beyond to care for us all.

    RIP my dear friend

Sincere condolences to Andy, Jo and Karina. Brendan will always be with you in the memories you have and the stories your family will tell. Take comfort from those good times.

He will never be forgotten. Words fail in this situation to describe what you must be feeling. You are cared about, and your sadness is shared. Would have liked to have had the chance to get to know Brendan better, but know he was someone very special. Brendan’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew him. Deepest sympathy from Brendan’s Aunty Ligi and Cousin, Leigh.

I will miss your caring and sincere kindness and asking me always R U OK whenever I went next door at PMA.

There were many times when I felt really depressed and disconnected with the world around me and you always held out a hand.

Now it is your turn to be looked after by God and be shown the same love and caring which you had extended to others.

    RIP
