Our dear Sister Philomena Kalmund passed away peacefully at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital on 22 December 2020.

Philomena, your enjoyment of delving into archives, knowing the stories of family and Sisters, carefully filing precious memories was a pleasure for you and a gift to us.

Now the story of your presence and journey with us has come to a completion. We thank you and know that you will enjoy the song of peace of the Christmas Angels and delve ever more deeply into the Great Story of God's amazing love. Go in peace, dear Philo. Your loving Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart.

The Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart invite you to attend the Burial of Sr Philomena Kalmund which will take place at KARRAKATTA Cemetery, Railway Pde, Karrakatta on THURSDAY (7.1.2021). The cortege will leave the main gates of the Cemetery at 11.45am to move to the place of interment. The livestream link for the Private Vigil and Mass will be available at www.sosj.org.au from 4.00pm on WEDNESDAY (6.1.2021).
