    Dear First Cousin Irene

I'm so pleased to have known you, mostly from afar though I stayed with you and Theo and your then young family in 1969/70. Isabelle and I are so pleased to have spent an afternoon with you in October 2019 (a lovely picture attached - I love the way you were holding Isabelle's hand though you had just met her for the first time). You reminded me again so much of your Aunt Dorothy (both as a younger person and in later life), my mother, who everyone agrees was a lovely lady, just as everyone agrees you were a lovely lady. I've pasted a picture of your Aunt Dorothy who loved her visit to Perth in the 1990s I think it was and I know she loved you dearly. I know your children and children-in-law and the wider family are going to miss you tremendously and Isabelle and I send them all our love. Through the notice of your passing I learned your second name was Joan. I'm assuming your father Austin gave you that name in memory of his sister Joan who so sadly died aged 18. I've posted a picture of Joan as well so others can see who you were most likely named after - Joan is the one standing, your Aunt Dorothy is in the middle with the big bow and your Aunt Emily at the bottom. Much love dear Irene, Keith and Isabelle

Dearest Joanne, Debra, Marina and families.

Beloved sister-in-law Irene epitomised elegance and style, her commitment to family exemplary.

Irene embraced the responsibility for taking care of my sister Katrina and I when our beloved parents passed. At the time Irene was pregnant with three children under 8. Irene was the mother of mothers, she never complained or raised her voice during challenging times. We will always remember the Greek cooking lessons for Jan whom she embraced and guided, the stylish delicious lunch and dinners at Kondil Place, her absolute devotion to Brother Theo. Irene was an amazing, wonderful, beautiful person whom will never be forgotten.

All Our love, Uncle Victor, Aunty Jan, Cousins Danielle, George, Tiffany and families.
