JOHNSON (LESLIE WILLIAM)

Born 21.03.1929. Passed away peacefully at home on 11.07.2020 - aged 91 years. Loving husband of Ruth. Didn't quite make 62nd anniversary. He fought to the very end with determination. Special thanks to Drs De Bruyn, Dean and Buck, Chemo nurses, ambos, palliative care and staff at SJOG Geraldton. Also to our wonderful friends for the love and care given to Les and myself. You were my rock. Gone but never to be forgotten. RIP. Love Ruth.

  • JOHNSON (Les):

Sincere condolences to our dear friend Ruth, our loving goddaughter Gay, Gary, Vicki and families.

Les became a lifelong friend after we first met at Newcastle St. Technical School in 1944.

He was a true gentleman and Freemason, respected by all, especially by his godson Graeme, Greg and Annette, our children.

We remember well the good old days Les when you went into firewood production, beekeeping and fishing - anything to make an extra bob. Cherished memories.
