I will sadly miss our frequent chats on the phone and the many laughs that we always had particularly about the footy.

You were not only a very dear and close friend of mine, Wendy and our family, you were always an absolute pleasure to be with over many many years.

    RIP mate. God speed.

To Karen and your wonderful family, Wendy and I know that your family will take the very best of care of you. David was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and his legacy will be with you all for a very long time and is indicative of the caliber of the person that David was. He will be very deeply missed but when you are comfortable, celebrate all the wonderful times that you and David had together and with the family as a whole.

    Our love to you all.

  • HUGHES DAVID Sincere condolences to Karen and family for their loss of David. Remember him so well as a colleague and friend at Mazda, starting in 1986 when he joined the Technical Team and then proudly handed him the State Manager's role in 2003 as he continued his journey into Senior Management. Always recall his good humour, attention to detail yet able to see the big picture to achieve results. Sadly missed, Brian and Jan Butterworth
