Loving husband of Helen for 67 years and beloved father of John, Simon, Jane and Anne. Father-in- law to Sue, Jeremy and Ian and adored grandfather of Mollie, Fraser, Declan, Rachel, Emma, Rebecca, Jemma and Amelia.

A true gentleman, a loving family man and one who believed in "Service above Self".

A Service to celebrate the life of the late John Edward Hollingshead will be held at 10.30am on WEDNESDAY (16.9.2020) KARRAKATTA Cemetery. Assemble at the main gates for cortege to the Norfolk Chapel.

  • HOLLINGSHEAD JOHN John is remembered with great affection by the members of the John Fawcett Foundation which began with his dedicated efforts to gain the support of Rotary International in 1988 to start the Bali Eye Clinic. John became co-founder with John Fawcett. Now known as the John Fawcett Foundation, of which John was a life member, it annually conducts cataract and corrective surgeries for thousands of poor Indonesians.

    Rest in peace John for a job well done. Sympathy to his great supporter Helen, and to the family.
