HINCHLIFFE

(DAVID BALMFORTH)

Thank you for the love and care you gave me over our 64 years together. You loved playing footy, golf, sailing and fishing. Music was a big part in your life, playing in dance bands, brass bands and you loved every minute of it. Then you took up art and often went off with your mates to paint and did great works. You also did portraits of family children. Well love, I will miss our laughs we had over nearly every day over nothing in particular. We would look at one another and start laughing. I won't say goodbye - just tootle pip. From your loving Wife, Gladys, children Joanne, Warren and Wayne, Father-in-Law to Les, Caryn, Grandad to Bek, Joel, Simon, Jess, Ben, Zoe, Josh, Cammy, Great Grandad to Oska, Lani and Tobias.

Aged 87. Husband of Glad (Mum) of 64 years. Our Dad, Poppa, Great Poppa, we had an interesting childhood, even helping you to build a boat. We lived in a happy and secure family. You were a great example in the workplace and in the many different sports, music and art communities you were involved in. We will always remember you. You will be forever in our hearts.

  • HINCHLIFFE DAVID To me Fudder - I love you very much. I try to put feelings into words, but it's hard. You taught me lots. Some good, some bad. You were an awesome Dad and you are already sadly missed. Love Wayne and Caryn xxx

PS I wish I listened more and tried harder.

  • HINCHLIFFE DAVID To our Poppa, Thank you for being a supportive and caring Poppa. Even in ill health, jokes were always flowing throughout the family. Those are the memories that we hold close to us in this difficult time. Humour has definitely been passed down through the generations from you, to your children then to us and we will continue laughing even in this difficult time.

    Love Josh and Cam
