  • HASSON (Jon):

Jon, our childhoods were greatly intertwined due to our left-handed "afflictions" in class and our West Ballidu school bus runs. But most importantly, our families' friendship. I have many, many full and fun memories of our farms, dams, bikes and motorbikes, picnics, birthdays, cubbies and tennis (you swapping hands mid point).

I hope that I can support your incredible Mum, Dad, Sal and Erin of whom I share as many great memories and immeasurable love and respect.

You are treasured and honoured by all of us.

The Miamen Maileys of West Ballidu.

    Rest in peace Jon

Dear Geof and Marianne, Sally, Erin and families, It is with sadness and grief that I try to send a message. I will always remember spending time with you all at the farm in Ballidu and having Jon give us the farm tour ... a kind, patient and loving young man who was so proud to introduce Taj and Hannah to us at that visit. May you find comfort from your loving, close and extended family!

With love from your faraway Canadian cousins, Keith and Leona Gardiner and family.

Bro, JA, Uncle Jon, we're devastated you couldn't see and feel all the love and opportunities you had around you and ahead of you. Or the caring, funny, warm and smart guy you were. We truly thought we could get you there.

You meant so much to so many, but your head wouldn't let your heart believe it.

It hurts so much knowing we never get to see you, speak with you, or hug you again. Especially when we saw a future of spending more family time together in our Perth hood.

We love you. We miss you. It's your turn to rest. We'll look after Taj and Hannah for you.

Love Ero, BG, Moo and Coco xxxx

  • HASSON JON Big, beautiful, blue-eyed you. Master of dry wit, thief of everyone's chocolate. Kind generous, considerate and loving. Amidst our enormous grief is genuine gratitude. Despite your darkness, thank you for the love, laughter, and big hugs you brought to our world. We know how much you loved us. We know how long and hard you fought the black dog for us. We were hoping so hard there were brighter days ahead. Our hearts will always be broken, but we will never stop loving and honouring you. Rest in peace now brother, my god we miss you.
