  • HARVEY SYDNEY JAMES (JIM)

12.6.1929 - 6.5.2019 Darl, you slipped away before I had a chance to say goodbye. You are my true love, my everything, my life. Together we raised 4 beautiful children that we love and adore. I have been so blessed with my life that we shared. Together as a team we conquered it all. I will walk beside you forever.

    Elaine

    HARVEY (Jim):

Dad you have always been right beside us all of our lives. We have travelled many roads together now we must travel them without you. Our Saturday morning brekkies at Dome and our counter lunches on Fridays will never be the same. You were Les' co-pilot and supervisor for years from the horses, parks and trees. You were a role model for our children. Our lives are so much greater for having you in it. But now the time has come for you to pull on your RM boots and ride high in that saddle. We will keep your chair warm until we meet again. You will never be forgotten Jimmy. Thank you for being my Dad. Forever in our hearts. Peta and Les

    HARVEY (Jim):

Much loved and adored Jim of Jason and Jo and loving Great-Grandfather to Jack and Sophie. There are so many treasured memories from Kambalda to family holidays at Hopetoun and the Caravan Park, shooting ducks at Cotters Country and Dad sending you into the water to retrieve them, sitting around at Christmas listening to Kevin Bloody Wilson and Slim to your weekly running commentary of last week's football game and ranting about "the bloody umpires". Our sweet and gentle Jim, we will miss your cheeky smile and the way your face lit up with happiness whenever we walked in. You were the absolute best Grandfather anyone could wish for and we thank you for your unconditional love. The race may be over but your bloodlines will go on. Jason, Jo, Jack and Sophie

    HARVEY (Jim):

In loving memory of our Grandad and Great-Grandad Jim. We miss you so much but we know all we have to do is turn on the wireless and listen to Slim and you will be right there beside us tapping your leg and singing along. We are so grateful that we have so many memories, places and things to remind us of you and how special you are. You will be in our hearts and thoughts forever. Lots of love Dale, Heidi and Dusty.

    HARVEY (Jim):

"There was movement at the station for word had passed around" you are the best Grandad I could ever ask for and you will always be Stella's Greatest-Grandad. That mischevious grin followed by your little cackle. We shall miss so much. Our coffee dates treasured forever (if only I could have one more piece of carrot cake with you). Our hearts are breaking and there is a void in all of us that will never be filled. We will look after your woman for you. Jimmy you are our true gentleman. Go ride your horses, it's time for you to rest out in the long yard. Amy, Chad, Stella, Aysha and Montanah xxx

We have lost a good bloke, our brother-in-law and uncle to our boys. He had great recall of Norseman days, loved his poetry and enjoyed reciting it. Elaine will be cared for by those you have left around her. Thanks Ughie? John, Pam and families.
