Happy memories of my time at Regional Alliance West in 2014/15 and a short time 2017. A small group of us would gather around "Ernie" Urn each morning before work; no problem was ever too big for us to solve!
Alan was always a happy and very helpful colleague and friend, and it was a privilege to know him.
My deepest sympathy to his loving family and friends.
We were always making plans together: At work we "solved" the world's problems over a coffee each morning before work. After Al's retirement we discussed my retirement and planned on having regular coffees together during all our "off" time. Sadly, this now won't happen... God needed you for a higher purpose. You are and will be forever missed my dear Friend. Rest in peace until we meet again! To Sharin and Jess, my deepest condolences for your huge loss. Alan was a pure diamond: a loving and caring husband to Sharin, dad to Jess and her husband and a true friend to all of us.
Heaven has gained another beautiful angel. My deepest sympathy to Sharin and Jess for the loss of such a beautiful soul. He was a well respected colleague and we miss the colourful shirts and the funny office banter. May he now rest in peace.
Alan was a kind and gentle man who cared so much for people. He has been very much missed from Regional Alliance West since his retirement. We still speak fondly of "Steve".
Sincere condolences to Sharin and Jess. May you be comforted by the God of all comfort xx
