  • HARDY (Daryl):

Condolences to Mrs. Hardy, my good mate Scotty, Craig, Darren and Joel.

I have fond memories of the old days when Spike was a trainer and running the water for his beloved Townies. Always competitive, but always smiling and having fun.

Spike - “Ole mate”… “Buddy”… of your favorite words I can hear it now.

I enjoyed when we had the chance to catch up, even though it was varying at times. You and Jude always made it feel like we had just seen each other yesterday.

Lots of memories of stirring, having a laugh, working to set others up, having a beer and being a true blue Aussie. Always trying to have a haircut like yours. I still remember the first time went to the meet you in the buggy. The bank house always kept me wake at night always wondering if there was any money in there, until one day you removed the bath tub and told me you found a penny. I was pumped.

Really glad we had the chance to catch up prior to Christmas; it was great to have a chat.

You left us too soon mate, we had still had a small job to finish. I know you will be there with us (always and up a journey).

Rest up ole mate, thanks for the memories, mentoring, sportsmanship and fun.

    Love Ryan

Condolences to Judy, Rock, Darren, Scott ,Joel, and the families.

Deepest Sympathy regards Ryan, Deanne, Mitchell and Kyle Shields

    Where to begin..

Over 40 years of friendship and fun.

Full of memories of mischief, good times and bad, highs and lows. Camping and trekking. Too many drinks and dumb Dad jokes.

8 boys going through "a phase" - football, sports, fast cars and girls. Then the joy of grandkids arriving.

    We've lived it all together.

Time to fly high with your Magpies, Spike.

More than a mate, you're our family.

Jude, Craig, Darren, Scott, Joel and families, we'll always be here for you.

Robbie (dec) Helen, Jayde and Deb, Ryan and Deanne, Adam and Kelly, Brock and Tracey and families.

To dearest Judy, Rock, Darren, Scott, Joel and your families - it's so hard trying to write something about our friend, Daryl - almost impossible! Since your family came into our lives all those years ago, there have been so many special times shared with you - it would be impossible to list them. Please know that we will treasure each and every one of them as they are so very precious, All the laughter and fun times shared with Daryl, his friendship, mateship, caring, his laughter and fantastic sense of humour, all the stories that you both told, his caring for the community and most importantly, his love for his family too - just so special.

Spike, you will be missed way more than you will ever know......we love you, Mate.

    Thank you.

    Carn the Pies!
