  • GUNNING (Dixie):

Dixie and Ivan Gunning were the most wonderful neighbours when we lived in Perth in the late 1980s. We remember so many fabulous times with Dixie and the entire Gunning family. Dixie and Ivan loved our two young boys and they both loved them. We have remained in touch over the last 30 years and have greatly enjoyed seeing Dixie in Perth and Sydney. Dixie is one of the truly special ladies we have known in our life. All the Rouse family were greatly saddened to hear of her passing. Extraordinarily happy memories of Dixie will remain with us forever. John and Philippa Rouse, Sydney.

Lasting memories of a creative and generous speech and drama teacher at Queen of Apostles in the early 70's. Some people leave a lasting impression and Mrs Gunning was a much-revered and special influence for so many young students. She made us feel special. Always fondly remembered.
