  • GRIEVE (John):

Goodbye Kip who lived down the road for many many years then, a 1 minute drive away, then a 5 minute drive away all in City Beach. Your cheeky repertoire will be remembered plus your great cooking skills and your success in business. Our condolences to dear Berwyn and family. We only found out this minute that Kip has passed and it is 3pm the moment his funeral is beginning

    Best wishes

  • GRIEVE KIP On behalf of all legacy WGE staff, thanks for being one of a kind. From humble beginnings in March 1961, the business you started now has a truly national footprint and is part of a global firm. You will be remembered for being a straight shooter and loved for your dry wit. Your pride and passion for the business meant you still attended staff Christmas parties and client parties until recently. We know you are proud of what Wood and Grieve Engineers has achieved. Thank you from all of the legacy WGE staff. Our thoughts are with Berwyn and her family at this time.

  • GRIEVE KIP When I think of Kip and Berwyn, I think of Dampier Avenue, Wood and Grieve, Coral Bay, Palm Beach, Carols by Candlelight.

I think of Greg and Kerry, Peter and Russell and Brendan. I think of Judy, Darren and Jodi.

They were wonderful days and we were all so young.

The ever generous heart that ‘beat to the music' of an engineer, was full of compassion for others, although was shy to reveal his greatest asset.

A gardener of distinction. A problem solver of renown.

A lover of travel to far away places.

Above all, his love of Berwyn was paramount.

We will miss his wicked wit, accompanied by a Bacardi and Coke.

Ill health has been a recent ‘companion' which removed a true friend from our midst.

John and Pat Garland and family.
